Darin Roddick-Small

I am a Middle School Science teacher in the suburbs of Chicago, Illinois. I have lived there for the past five years and travel North to the Madison Wisconsin area every chance I get. I have given a number of seminars and have written numerous articles on topics ranging from dock fishing to working different types of timber. I find it a true pleasure to share my knowledge of fishing with whoever I can.

I consider my home waters to be Lake Wisconsin and the Madison Chain of lakes. I also live on pool 7 of the Mississippi River for about ten years. This helped me to build a diverse skill set to use when I head out onto the water. My favorite lure to use is a jig, of any style. I will have between 4 and 8 tied on at any given time during the season.

I have been tournament fishing on and off for the past 20 years from the club level up to the BFLs. During that time I have also fished a number of open events in the Madison area and on the Mississippi.

If you have any questions about the area I fish, or how I fish Super K Jigs, please feel free to contact me at droddicksmall@hotmail.com.

I am 33 years old and was born and raised in Rice Lake, WI. I am a Chiropractor and have Crotteau Chiropractic clinic here in Rice Lake. That is my profession and I love it dearly, but fishing is my passion. I am married to my wife Darcey who supports that passion as well, to the point where her license plates read "HES FISHN." We are expecting our first child this August!

I have been fishing my whole life - from when I grew up a mile from a trout stream to ice fishing every winter to pass the cabin fever away. Having had to go to college for undergraduate and graduate school, life did not leave a lot of time for tournament angling until about six years ago where today it has taken me allover the country. I have been tournament angling from local club tournaments up to the professional ranks of the Bassmaster Opens. I also fish a number of local Open tournaments as well as the Wisconsin Team Circuit with my tournament partner Gregg Kizewski. I look forward to fishing the Bassmaster Weekend Series again this year as I will not be fishing the Opens with a little one on the way, but I will take that trade any day!

Having known Gregg Kizewski for a number of years now I am proud to be part of his pro-staff because there are truly no better custom jigs made anywhere. The time, effort, research and dedication put into each jig is unmatched and is proven to me over and over every time on the water! I also have a pro-staff position with Ranger Boats,Minnkota, Humminbird, Yamaha and Quantum with full sponsorships from Hauck Powersports, Miller Lite, Prop's Sports Bar, and A & J Landscaping.

Preston Johnson

My name is Preston Johnson I am 36 years old.  I was born and raised in Rice Lake, Wisconsin.  I work as a financial associate with Thrivent Financial.  I have been fishing all my life thanks to my father (Thanks DAD!!) introducing me to trout and walleye fishing  as a young man. I would fish for anything that swam in the early days and in 1992 I joined the local Northland Bassmasters in Rice Lake and the rest was history.  I was hooked from the moment I started bass fishing, what a sport.  I have moved up the ranks from local club tourneys to local opens to the Wisconsin Team Circuit to BFL's and currently fishing on the Bassmaster Tournament Trail (Southern and Central Opens).  I plan on fishing the Bassmaster Opens until I qualify for the Elite Series, and if I'm lucky enough the Bassmaster Classic some day! (every bass fisherman's dream)

I consider my home waters to be Long Lake and Big Chetac in Washburn county and the Chetek Chain and Rice Lake in Barron county.  I enjoy fishing all types of waters and my strength is Jig fishing! I have multiple jigs tied on every time I go on the water.  Which brings me full circle to why I choose Super K jigs as one of my primary weapons on the water.  Listen folks.......... I've used all types of jigs over my 17 year career and very few, if any, have ever matched the quality and precision of Gregg's jigs.  I know all the hard work, research and dedication that has gone into making these jigs.  We have even worked together to come up with a couple colors that I personally won't go out on the water without.(currently not available to the public, sorry.....)

I am also sponsored by Berkley, Smith Optics, Thrivent Financial, Voodoo Fish Scents and Tony Chachere's Creole Seasoning.  I am proud to be a part of the Super K Fishing Pro-Team.  Any questions please don't hesitate to call me, I love talking fishing!!!!

Thanks,
Preston S. Johnson

I
am 37 years old living in Centerville, MN. For 2009, I am fishing club tournaments with Sunrise Bassmasters as well as a variety of charity events. For the last 2 years, I have organized a charity tournament benefiting local charities in over $2200. On a good week, I can get on the water 3-5 days. I strive to fill any open seat in the boat in hopes of sharing information with others to learn more.

I am new to tournaments as of 2006. I am proud to have won big bass, place 2nd, 4th and 5th in a variety of waters & conditions. I have enjoyed a well rounded, versatile learning curve. I am comfortable with many techniques from deep structure finesse to tight, heavy cover. Competing at higher levels in future years to come is on the list of long term goals.

When I am not fishing, I can be found raising a family of 4 children ages 10 - 17. In the off season I am teaching guitar lessons, competing in chess tournaments & being a taxi-cab parent.

I am 33 years of age and an Elementary Special Education/Reading Recovery Teacher from Hartland, Wisconsin.  Educating children within the Lake Country area and fishing are passions I truly enjoy.  In 2008 I brought the two together and founded Little Lunkers Fishing School.  Our inaugural year we educated 90 students ages 4-14!

This coming year Little Lunkers will continue to offer Intermediate, Advanced, and Tournament Team Classes. I’m honored to team with Gregg and utilize his high quality Super K Jigs in an effort to provide the future of the sport with that memorable catch that will last a lifetime!

Super K Jigs will also receive the nod during tournaments while fishing club events with Beaver Dam Bass Anglers, the BFL-Great Lake Division, and Angler’s Choice Team Series.

If you have any questions about getting children and their families hooked on fishing, or you find yourself in Southeastern, WI fishing one of our many pristine Lake Country waters, you can contact me at littlelunkers@mac.com .

Many of my summers growing up were spent fishing for walleyes on Leech Lake in Walker MN. A friend of mine introduced me to bass fishing when I was 16years old I have been hooked ever since.

Growing up in St. Paul, Minnesota we are blessed with many different types of lakes and also the Mississippi River. I believe this has made me a more diversified angler.

I was introduced to swim jig fishing in 1998 in a tournament on the Mississippi River and to this day am always humbled by what can be learned from this technique.

Having have used many great swim jigs over the years I’m very excited about the hand made quality that Super K Fishing puts into every jig.

For 2009 I look forward to representing Gopher BassMaster’s on our State Team and the ever learning process of bass fishing.

If ever any one is interested in learning more about swim jig fishing or about Super K Jigs feel free to contact me davidcindrich@yahoo.com . Learn that swim jigs aren’t just a river thing, learn they are a bass thing.

I am 22 years old, from Hastings Minnesota. I have lived in Hastings my whole life and fish the St. Croix River and Mississippi River, along with almost every lake in western Wisconsin. I am currently going to school at Century College in White Bear Lake to become an Orthotics and Prosthetics Practitioner.

I have been fishing with the “St. Croix Bass Anglers” bass club for the past six years. And this year will be my third year as our Tournament Director. I also fish the weekend series and many other bass tournaments in the local area. One day soon, I hope to be an Elite Series Pro and fish against the guys that I so dearly idol. But even if I am not fishing in a tournament you can usually still catch me out on the water. From rivers to lakes it does not matter I am willing to fish for bass anywhere!

Because I spend so much time on the water I need baits I know that will produce fish. And Super “K” Jigs do that for me. The time and effort that Gregg puts into making his jigs really shows! He has demonstrated that hard work and dedication really does pay off. I love the jigs that he makes and I know that they allow me to be a better fisherman. The jigs catch fish and lots of them!

If you have any questions about Super “K” Jigs or fishing in general, feel free to email me at fisherman79@hotmail.com. I have fished my whole life but it wasn’t until a trip I took with my uncle when I was a teenager that I caught my first smallmouth bass, a nice four-pounder. I had never experienced that kind of enjoyment before and have been chasing it ever since. I currently live in Minneapolis, MN with my wife Bri, though we have aspirations of moving to Tennessee's Kentucky Lake area within the next five years where I can continue to grow as a competitive tournament angler.
I'm currently competing on the Silverado Pro Tour and the BASSMASTER Weekend Series, as well as other various money tournaments mostly on Lake Minnetonka. My upcoming tournament plans are to fish the BASSMASTER Opens as well as the FLW Stren Series trying to reach my ultimate goal of competing at the national tour level as well as fulfilling my life long dream of competing in the BASSMASTER Classic.

This is why I am very excited to be using Super K Swim Jigs and counting on them to put fish in my livewell. I've only been throwing swim jigs for a year or two and am extremely impressed with Super K's abilities to catch big fish. It's truly a finesse bait that can be power fished and comes through cover better than any other lure on the market. The attention to detail in each swim jig is second to none!

Check out my website at www.JoshDouglasFishing.com and please feel free to drop me an email if you have any questions about Super K Jigs or just want to plan old talk bass fishing.

See you on the water!!

I’m 26 years old and living in Hudson, WI and I’ve been fishing tournaments for 7 years and spend almost every weekend on the water from April to October.  I love fishing the St. Croix River and pools 4 and 5 of the Mississippi River.  If I’m not on a river, I’m on one of Wisconsin’s many beautiful northern lakes.

I look to SuperK Swimming Jigs because of their large Gammy hooks so I know I’m not missing fish when burning them in the heavy weeds for aggressive largemouth.  My favorite technique for smallmouth is burning a white/chartreuse ¼ oz jig with a 3 inch white grub trailer parallel on a wingdam on the Mississippi river or high in the water column on long rock points on clear northern lakes.  When searching for largemouth in the spring,I like to throw a 3/8 oz Tequila Blue with a 5 inch junebug trailer in and around big spawning bays to pick off those big pre-spawn females.

When the hot summertime comes, I like to turn to rock jigs for probing the deep water for monster smallmouth.  My favorite application is taking a ¾ oz LilOlive rock jig with a watermelon colored twin tail grub and throwing it anywhere I find a rock/sand mixture in the 10-20 feet of water.  I reel it in nice and slow and then every few seconds taking the rod and giving it a big hop off the bottom to provoke the strike.

If you ever have specific questions or application advice contact me anytime; bradmccann@gmail.com

Enjoy your jigs!

I’m 30 years old live in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin. I have a wife, Jennifer, two boys that love to fish, and two young girls.

I have fished competitively for more than half my life. I started tournament fishing with my dad then joined B.A.S.S. There is no better place to learn about fishing than your local bass club. I learned a lot from some very talented anglers. In the last few years I started fishing some team circuits in WI and MN. I have had success in the WBFN, FOM, Flambeau Bass Masters, and with the St. Croix Bass Anglers.

I tend to do better when conditions are tough and have made a conscious effort to pay very close attention to details. Details like the quality of my equipment, specifically my hooks. Part of the reason I am using Super K Jigs is I know how meticulous Gregg is and the quality I can expect from his baits.

I am a 25 year old bass fanatic from Rice Lake, Wisconsin. I've been fishing ever since I could walk, thanks to my Dad and Uncles. When I started fishing it didn't matter where I was fishing or what I was catching as long as the fish gave me a battle, and I've been blessed to be born and raised in an area that has many different species that I could observe and learn from. It wasn’t until I was around the age of 9 or 10 that I discovered how fun bass were to catch, and the rest as they say is history.

I joined B.A.S.S. soon after, hoping to harness and use all of the information my brain could soak up. In high school I strayed from fishing a bit to focus on music and ended up touring the country playing drums for a little while. On that tour I realized how much I missed catching bass and I decided to abandon the music and devote my time to tournament bass fishing.

When I was introduced to Gregg’s jigs by a friend of mine I knew I was holding something special that would give me an advantage on the water. I was and still am blown away by the incredible detail and unmatched quality of these baits, and I’m honored to be on this pro-staff. The way these jigs look in the water makes it obvious how meticulous Gregg is with his craft. My goal is to learn every day about these fish we chase and to become a successful tournament angler, and fishing with these jigs will help me achieve that! Simply put, Super "K" Jigs are the best jigs you can have on the end of your line!
